Pantommind new song

     Bulgarian Premier Proggers "Pantommind" are proud and happy to announce that singer and friend Mike Andersson (Cloudscape, Fullforce) will take part on a duet song which to be included on the fortcomming album 'Searching For Eternity'.The song is called "Walk On" and will include also guest guitar performance.
      The Pantommind guys say that Mike's voice sounds totally great and fit perfect for this particular song along with Tony's vocals. The band would like to thank Mike for his awesome contribution to the song.

Pantommind are the opening band for Riverside in Sofia

Despite all of downfall of the economy worldwide the Bulgarian progressive band Pantommind has been very active after the success of their second official release last year. They have begun a mini tour for the past two months promoting their latest album “Lunasense” which after extended voting on the respective Perfect Prog site was nominated for the second best prog album of 2009. Next show is settled for the 20th of February 2010 at the RBF Club in Sofia with the guest instrumental prog rock band Liquid Pension. Pantommind have been confirmed also as the opening band on the upcoming concert of well-known progressive band Riverside again in Sofia at the very prestige Blue Box. The date is 9th of May 2010 tickets are already available on sale. The concert is part of the cycle “Four year radio Tangra Rock”.

The Extended Mind - Athem

A few months ago we were pleasantly surprised to receive an email with attachment of a few songs from unknown band living in New Jersey with the name Athem. The songs were from their first official album, which the musicians of this band issued on their own with the help of their families and good friends. With the very first composition I was captured by the very high professionalism and mainly from the variety of different musical genres woven into all of their songs. The music of this album is like a new breeze that carries a much greater diversity in a musical genre as progressive metal, which for some time has been turning in the “magic circle” with many bands that only differentiate themselves from each other by their names but sound almost same. More by listening to their songs I knew already that this is the still yet undiscovered "diamond" which simply must be well presented to the delight of prog metal fans worldwide. Spectastral Records is very happy to present its newest discovery the extreme progressive band Atnem, with the first official album "The Extended Mind".

PANTOMMIND'S NEW ALBUM OUT NOW

SPECTASTRAL Records signed PANTOMMIND for worldwide deal!

       We have been following very closely the career of Bulgarian band “Pantommind” since the official release of their debut album “Shade of Fate” in 2005.The album received wide variety of warm and positive reviews and almost instantly rise their popularity worldwide by putting them straight on the map of progressive metal with bands like Dream Theater, Savatage and Fates Warning.

       Slowly but consistently the members of Pantommind begun to work on the next project “Lunasense”. After long hours of rehearsals and sleepless nights, they were able to create one true and complete masterpiece, which "Spectastral Records LLC" is very pleased to present as one of the hottest new release of 2009.

“Lunasense” is not just another new album, it is rather new experience in listening progressive metal as only few bands in the world has been able to deliver so far.

With the starting instrumental “Transmission Part 1”, the band did not waste any time and begins full power. Massive guitars shredding in perfect rhythms with powerful and heavy drums accompanied with background of mystical synthesizers give the idea of what comes ahead.

       Followed by “Erasable Tears” and specially the song ”Wolf”, Pantommind were able to reach almost cinematographic experience in sound and effects bringing a full picture of the range and capability of all of the musicians making this band.Every one of the following songs in the album takes listeners to many different pleases in the world of dreams where imagination has no boundary and limit (listen) to “My Home”.

       All of the compositions in the album carry band’s signature of their distinctive sound filled with sudden changes in rhythms and smooth transitions of very easy and light to dark and heavy tones filed with extreme guitar solos.

       One of this album’s guest musicians is the very talented artist and songwriter Colleen Gray who performs the spoken parts in “Transmission Part 1”and “Erasable Tears”. Her wonderful voice blends beautifully with Pantommind’s vocal star Tony Ivan in “To the Days of Old”. The song took the band to the semifinals of Eurovision in 2006.

       In short, any of the compositions from the album are absolute candidate to be a favorite ones even to non-progressive metal listeners.
